About the Agile Fund

The Agile Fund is NYFF's rapid-response grant window. It is designed for moments that cannot wait for a standard grant cycle: emerging civic opportunities, time-bound policy windows, or urgent community needs where a fast, well-targeted intervention can produce outsized impact. We are inviting applications from young leaders and youth-led organisations whose proposed intervention responds to a genuine, time-sensitive opportunity or need within one or more of the following thematic areas:
  • Accountability and Transparency
  • Electoral Engagement and Democratic Participation
  • National Cohesion, Peace and Security
  • Policy and Advocacy
  • Social Inclusion

Youth Leadership Development Programm

Who Should Apply

1. The beneficiary must be a Young Change Maker (aged 18- 35 years) with a proven track record of working on a sustainable solution that directly addresses any of the thematic areas.
2. The beneficiary must demonstrate a good understanding and experience of youth activism, strategic planning and project management.
3. The beneficiary must demonstrate experience and knowledge of community or team building, following principles of honesty and integrity.
4. The beneficiary must demonstrate talent and passion for new ways of behaving, norms, actions, love for creative arts and imagination.
5.The beneficiary must have a genuine means of identification and/or must be attached to an institution.
APPLICATION CLOSED
1. Any organization applying must be a formally registered organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria or any other state-level relevant registration. Otherwise, unregistered organizations can form a cluster and apply through a registered organization.
2. Any organization applying must be a youth-driven civic and transformation organization working on sustainable solutions that directly address any of the thematic areas.
2. The organization must have good antecedents and a proper track record.
3. The organization must have a SCUML certificate and any other relevant documents that certify their legal operations.
4.The organization must have a physical address and a corporate account.
5. The development grant applicants must have a good reach within the proposed state of Implementation.

Agile Grant Size

The maximum budget allocation for the agile fund is $1,000 for Individuals and $5,000 for organizations.
